About Tabatha
I fell in love with numbers at 18 and never looked back. To me, accounting is like solving a puzzle. There are moving pieces, details that don't always seem to fit, and sometimes a little detective work involved. I enjoy putting those pieces together until the numbers make sense and the financials tell the true story of the business.
That's why messy books don't scare me, they're the part I enjoy most. With more than 30 years of accounting experience, including working under CPAs and in corporate accounting departments with multi-entity and multi-location companies, I've learned how to find what doesn't look right, untangle complicated books, and get everything back on track.
Today, I bring that experience to small and growing business owners who want to spend less time worrying about their books and more time running their businesses.

With over 10 years of experience in banking, bookkeeping, and accounting support, Cerina brings a well-rounded financial background to Amethyst Accounting, along with a talent for keeping details organized and numbers accurate.
In 2022, Cerina began working alongside Tabatha in a corporate accounting environment. They quickly discovered they made a great team, sharing a commitment to accuracy, organization, and getting the numbers right, even when it takes a little digging to get there.
When Tabatha launched Amethyst Accounting in 2023, Cerina joined her and became part of the journey from the beginning.
Cerina enjoys the behind-the-scenes work of bringing order to the books, solving the little mysteries that inevitably pop up, and making sure the details don't get overlooked.
